Tuesday Tales: June 20 is Picture Prompt Day!

Welcome to this week's Tuesday Tales. If this is your first visit, this blog consists of scene written by select authors based on a word or picture prompt. These offerings are unpolished glimpses at a work in progress, many of which have gone on to be published novels.

I was pretty sure there were three snakes draped over the shredded curtains.

Before she could comment, Lucette spoke. “What did she give you?”
